Once that phase was complete, he went to Porsche Racing Experience, where he received a complete training tailored to his specific requirements, which consisted of three other stages of preparation and a first contact with the races of the Porsche Sports Cup, competition that he played in 2019. His sporting evolution has been recorded in the YouTube series Road to Le Mans (Road to Le Mans).
The jump to the European Le Mans Series is a step forward in his career as a pilot. Fassbender to get behind the wheel of a 2017-spec Porsche 911 RSR entered by the Proton Competition team. “It will be interesting to see how Michael progresses. The actor will share a car with the official driver of the brand Richard Lietz (Austria) and with Felipe Fernández Laser (Germany). Porsche will also be present on this trip and will launch the second season of the documentary Road to Le Mans at the end of 2020.
