Ghostbusters: The Video Game Remastered will be released on October 4.
Saber Interactive has announced that advance reservations of Ghostbusters: The Video Game Remastered, the high-resolution re-release of the acclaimed action adventure featuring the original cast of classic Columbia Pictures films, will premiere on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and Windows PC entertainment system on October 4, 2019.
Ghostbusters: The Video Game Remastered offers a unique story by Dan Aykroyd and Harold Ramis that captures the supernatural comic fun and fear fans adore from a franchise, celebrating its 35th anniversary this year. As the rookie on the Ghostbusters team, you’ll join your favorite characters from the film, reunited with the voices of Aykroyd, Ramis, Bill Murray and Ernie Hudson in the roles of Stantz, Spengler, Venkman and Zeddemore, alongside Annie Potts, Brian. Doyle-Murray, William Atherton, and Max von Sydow.
The city of Manhattan is once again invaded by ghosts, demons and other paranormal creatures unleashed by a mysterious force and only the Ghostbusters can drive this Evil back to whatever dimension they came from and save the Big Apple. Hunt, fight and trap a variety of new and familiar souls and ghosts, all remastered in high resolution. Ghostbusters: The Video Game Remastered will let you play with cool gadgets and upgradeable weapons in exciting boss fights, all in highly destructible environments. Scan and analyze targets with the PKE Meter and Paranormal Goggles, then strap on your proton backpack and fire a beam at the ghosts to wear them down for capture.
