Stockholm hopes to score points against its competitor from Copenhagen by showing the Swedish commitment to these themes. Called “Fashion Future”, this seminar’s theme this season is leadership. “International pioneers meet new players, talents and communities to discuss how the fashion industry can improve and grow through initiative, innovation and collaboration,” the organizers explain on the dedicated platform, which will broadcast the interventions live (fashionfuturesthlm.com), also broadcast on the event site stockholmfashionweek.se.

Among the speakers and panelists enrolled in the program: Helena Helmersson, CEO of the H&M group, who will speak with actress Maisie Williams, also the brand’s “Global Sustainability” ambassador, Achim Berg, senior partner of McKinsey’s in charge of the apparel, fashion and luxury sector, Mike Schragger, the founder and executive director of The Sustainable Fashion Academy and the MEP and former Swedish Minister of Culture Alice Bah Kuhnke.

Fashion Future was founded in 2017 under the name Fashion Tech Talks by the communications agency Patriksson Group and the Swedish Fashion Association.
