Rebel Wilson has sent temperatures soaring on Instagram with a stunning beach snap.

The Bridesmaids actress, 41, recently revealed she had hit her target weight, after transforming her body with a 77lb weight loss over recent years.

Posing in a figure-hugging purple swimsuit and pink sarong, the Australian star looked incredible as she stood by a battered ship for the snap.

The actress wore her platinum blonde hair in loose waves for the Instagram shot shared with her fans on Tuesday.

Rebel made a humorous reference to Tom Hank’s classic movie Castaway in the caption of her latest social media update.

Fans and famous faces were quick to compliment the stunning star on her beautiful picture.

“Holy guacamole,” gushed former Love Island star Montana Brown gushed in the comment section.

“Category is: Goddess but make it Shipwrecked,” quipped another complimentary fan.

Actress Tasha Smith added: “Ship wrecked beauty.”

Earlier this month, Rebel told Today Health how she has been enjoying long walks as part of her new exercise regime.

The star recently dressed up as Britney Spears to recreate the Crazy music video

“I feel like sometimes people think you need to work your body really hard to get results, and yeah, if you were training to be the next Thor or something you would be doing hardcore things, but as a regular person, walking is just so healthy for you,” she told the publication.

She added that she enjoys listening to a podcast or music when carrying out the physical activity she can do “anywhere in the world.”

“I can just go out and do it. It’s become my favourite form of exercise right now,” she explained.

Rebel posed in a red swimsuit as she told her followers it was “never too late” for self-improvement earlier this year

In September this year, Rebel told her Instagram fans it was ‘never too late’ to improve themselves, following her recent image overhaul,

Captioning a snap of herself in a red bathing suit, she wrote: “It’s never too late to improve yourself – to improve your health, your heart, your happiness, your harmony.

“For everyone out there just trying to be a lil bit better this week: go for it! Every bit counts. Every effort is worth it.”

Since embarking on her weight-loss journey, the Pitch Perfect star has been open and honest about the reasons why she initially decided to transform her body.

Rebel claims she was motivated to lose weight to improve her chances of falling pregnant

Speaking live on Instagram in July, the star confessed that she was initially offended when doctors told her she stood a better chance of conceiving if she was slimmer.

“When I was going through and looking into fertility stuff, the doctor was like, ‘Well, you’d have a much better chance if you were healthier’,” she said.

“I was actually a bit offended. I thought that even though I was bigger, I was pretty healthy,” she told her Instagram followers.

Rebel then went on to explain that the medic’s words spurred her on to diet in order to have a better chance of freezing her eggs.

“At first it wasn’t even for myself, it was thinking of a future mini-me and their quality. That’s what kick-started it,” she admitted to her online fans during the candid live.
