Black Widow actress Florence Pugh has gone brunette for her role in Netflix’s The Wonder.
Currently shooting in Ireland, the Emma Donoghue adaptation features Pugh as a 19th-century nurse named Lib Wright.
Usually seen on the small and big screen with blonde hair, the star unveiled her transformation via Instagram Stories today (August 9).

Directed by Chilean filmmaker Sebastian Lelio, The Wonder follows Lib as she travels to a small Irish village where she encounters a medical anomaly – a young girl called Anna O’Donnell has managed to survive without food for months.
Journalists and tourists come to be compelled by Anna’s case, while a synopsis further teases how “two strangers change one another’s lives” in a “journey of love that has to face against evil”.
