These are the elements on which the trade can focus to propose the new one Montescudaio Village that the Florentine group Human Company recently opened at the gates of Montescudaio, in Val di Cecina. An investment of 10 million euros between acquisition and renovation, a complex that can accommodate up to 2,000 visitors a day and which is already almost sold out for the summer.
“Outdoor tourism is increasingly popular with Italian customers – he confirms Giacomo Vannucchi, director of Montescudaio Village – we are satisfied with the performance of the reservations for July we are already over 80% of occupancy and will register the sold out, even though we see peaks in last minute bookings and less scheduling. The main market is represented by Italians who today, however, are a different clientele and far from the stereotypes of the camper, a new, more demanding and interested demand is emerging for this type of holiday that also extends the period of stay. Dutch, German e French. Everyone chooses this destination as an excellent starting point for Siena, Pisa and Florence but also to experience the surrounding nature and the nearby sea. Currently we mainly receive direct customers but we are ready to synergies with agencies and tour operators precisely to intercept this growing demand for outdoor tourism and which needs advice to know the evolution of the product. The numbers confirm this is a growing opportunity ”.
The strong point is the offer of completely renovated and expanded housing units: proposals glamping, like the Safari tent, which is joined by mobile homes equipped with every comfort, including Greeny, built according to the principles of bio-architecture that add 490 pitches for campers, tents and mobile homes. In terms of services, a water park and entertainment have been introduced, always included in the rates, and also a supermarket with take away and pool bar.
From the info point of the camping village it is possible to organize and book visits to the surroundings, with local suppliers and guides, for example to the WWF Padule di Bolgheri oasis, the first private protected area in Italy, in Montescudaio, included in the group of villages more beautiful in Italy or in Bolgheri renowned all over the world for its wine.
Finally, Human Company continues its growth in the outdoor sector in Tuscany: in 2022 it will be the turn of Sant’Albinia Village, on the Etruscan coast and in 2024 the opening of the Cavriglia Sport Village in the heart of the Upper Valdarno.
