The Conscious Festival is coming to Paris

An influential meeting in Asia with already seven editions in Singapore, Hong Kong and a virtual edition in London, the Conscious Festival will be in Paris for the first time, just before Fashion Week in the capital, from September 24 to 26. The event will be held in partnership with La Caserne, a new European responsible fashion incubator recently inaugurated in the 10th arrondissement.

The goal of the Conscious Festival? Raise awareness of sustainable lifestyles (whether in the world of fashion, lifestyle, beauty, food, travel, finances) and the major challenges for more ethical and responsible fashion. On the program: debates, conferences, DJ sets, designer village and workshops with actors of the transition in the world of fashion (entrance tickets from 15 euros for the general public and B2B pass).

Thus, throughout the three days, a village of committed fashion brands will take place within La Caserne. To discover some thirty names including Patine, Pantys, Circle, Mina Storm, Aigle or Bizance.

In parallel, various workshops will be organized by registration: sewing with Made in Sunday, electronic DIY to give a second life to a smartphone with Back Market, yoga classes …

On Friday September 24, an exclusive course will be dedicated to professionals. Called Conscious Leader Fashion Bootcamp, it will bring together personalities and decision-makers to discuss topics such as raw material sourcing, circularity, traceability, mission-oriented companies and inclusion. A program combining conferences (simultaneously broadcast in Singapore and London), networking and artistic performances which will be held at the opening of Paris Fashion Week and which aims to send a strong message to the fashion industry.

Sunday September 26 will be dedicated to conferences for the general public around many personalities in responsible fashion. Among the guests, will be the designer Sakina M’Sa, Sandrine Conseiller (DG Aigle international), Catherine Dauriac (president of Fashion Revolution France), Danique Gunning (marketing director of Mud Jeans)… The set will be broadcast in Singapore and London simultaneous free.

At the initiative of the Conscious Festival, we find Paula Miquelis and Stephanie Dickson. They met in Asia where they also launched Green is the New Black, both a platform and marketplace specializing in environmental protection and sustainable fashion. Their wish: to work with large private companies which could, by changing some of their practices, radically improve the current situation.
