The traditional opening round table will be dedicated this year to the path towards recovery that ports and cruise lines will undertake in 2022, in a debate with several voices on the objectives to be achieved and the possible critical issues to be overcome.

Environmental, social and economic sustainability of cruise shipments, new promotional and sales solutions to win over the cruise passengers of tomorrow and future ship deployment in Italy and the Mediterranean will be the other main themes of Italian Cruise Day 2021, for an intense day of discussion, analysis and debate on the present and the future of the sector in our country.

“Italian Cruise Day celebrates its first ten years this year, an important milestone for a forum that has become over the years the reference point for the Italian cruise industry and today even more central in the agenda of the operators of a sector that has been able to adapt to this difficult period »declared Francesco di Cesare, president of Risposte Turismo.

“From 2011 to today – continued di Cesare – the Italian cruise geography has changed and is changing with the entry of new ports and territories in the itineraries of companies, increasingly committed to offering proposals capable of meeting the tastes and sensitivities of demand . The numerous operators involved in this sector are now called to a new challenge that may require innovative choices. This will also be discussed on Friday 29 October during the next Italian Cruise Day in Savona ».
