Acampora Travel: “Ready for the return of the US market. Repurchased the hotels owned by Tui”

Acampora Travel returns to TTG Travel Experience with many news for the domestic and international market. “We bought back from TUI the seven owned hotels that are back in the family – he proudly announces Gino Acampora, managing director – and we have prepared an important investment plan ».

The company is preparing for a strong relaunch season. “At TTG Travel Experience we will present many offers for groups, individuals, and an interesting wedding package, especially on the Cilento and Sorrento coasts, destinations that have still unexploded potential and that will enjoy an important development in the coming years”. In 2024, in fact, the area will be able to leverage the opening of theSalerno Costa D’Amalfi airport. “The Campania airport system will enjoy a new important hub and I am sure that in this way we will be able to intercept the interest of international tourists even better”.

There is a great deal of confidence in the possibility of repositioning Italian destinations on the international stage. «We are enjoying a difficult and complex season – explains Acampora -, but the tourist wants to travel and, thanks to the vaccination campaign, we will be able to obtain good results. The summer season is going fairly well, with the interest of the classic markets, mainly domestic, but also international and Eastern Europe, even with private cars ».
But it’s the bookings for next year that lift the veil on return of overseas markets. «The requests we have for 2022 are many – anticipates Acampora -. There is a desire to return to Italy, especially on the part of the US market at the level of individual customers ».
