Costa Cruises announces some important updates related to its holiday program for 2022-2023, which concern two of the newest and most innovative ships in its fleet: Costa Venezia, which entered service in 2019, and Costa Toscana, currently under construction.
Starting from May 2022 Costa Venezia will offer cruises in Turkey, departing from Istanbul, an absolute novelty in the current panorama of cruise holidays. Costa Venezia will further strengthen the Costa offer in the Mediterranean, where Costa Toscana will also operate from March 2022.

Costa Venezia’s new program in Turkey includes three different itineraries, all with embarkation and disembarkation in Istanbul, designed to include longer stops in ports, which allow you to enjoy some of the most beautiful experiences of each destination, between rich cities. of history, ancient ruins, Unesco natural heritage sites and crystal clear sea.
From 1 May to 13 November 2022, Costa Venezia will offer two one-week itineraries dedicated to Turkey and Greece, alternating between them, which can be combined into a single 15-day “super tour”, with 8 stops in port for more than 10 hours. The first itinerary includes a two-day and one night stopover in Istanbul, the beautiful Turkish destinations of Izmir and Bodrum, the island of Mykonos and Athens in Greece. The second itinerary includes two stops of two days and one night in Istanbul and Kusadasi, Turkey, before heading to the discovery of Rhodes and Heraklion, Greece. In winter 2022-23, Costa Venezia will propose a third itinerary, of 12 days, in Turkey, Egypt, Israel and Cyprus, which will allow you to visit Istanbul, with a stop of two days and one night, Bodrum, Limassol, Haifa, always with a stopover of two days and one night, Alexandria of Egypt and Kusadasi.
The offer of excursions designed for Costa Venezia cruises will allow you to live special experiences, to remember, such as Ephesus at night with a private concert in a Roman amphitheater, admire the lights of the Bosphorus at night, sleep in houses carved into the rock in the landscapes moon of Cappadocia, discover the natural pools of Pamukkale, but also the Parthenon in Athens, the beaches of Mykonos and Rhodes, Bethlehem and Jerusalem.
Costa Venezia’s new programs, which include “flight + cruise” packages from all major European countries, will be available for booking from the first half of October.
The new flagship Costa Toscana, the second LNG-powered ship of the Costa brand, will be delivered as planned in December 2021, and will enter service from 5 March 2022. The itinerary that the ship will offer from that date will remain unchanged, with cruises of one week in the western Mediterranean, which will visit Savona, Marseille, Barcelona, Valencia, Palermo, Civitavecchia / Rome. Costa Toscana cruises originally scheduled from 18 December 2021 to early March 2022 will instead be operated by Costa Luminosa, which will therefore cancel its long winter Mediterranean cruise program due to restrictions currently in force in Israel. The company is taking steps to inform guests and travel agents affected by these changes.
