Less than three months after the long-awaited reopening of La Samaritaine, and while Paris is still deprived of a large number of tourists, it is the turn of the luxury hotel Cheval Blanc to open its doors. Attached to the Parisian department store and enjoying a breathtaking view of the Seine, this hotel, which accommodates 26 rooms and 46 suites, is the first Cheval Blanc, the hotel label of the LVMH group (also owner of La Samaritaine), to nestle in the heart of from the capital.
This exceptional place where 400 people officiate and which has four restaurants, is also equipped with a Spa, a place of relaxation and well-being operated by Dior. Designed by decorator Peter Marino, the Dior Spa Cheval Blanc Paris looks like a Parisian apartment in which six suites dedicated to treatments flourish. A card of 48 protocols is thus unveiled and a professional care line called Professional Solutions, made up of 13 formulas, has also been developed for the occasion. This setting also has a swimming pool 30 meters long.
Within the Spa is also installed a shop where customers of the place can discover some exclusive products which celebrate the marriage of the two houses of the LVMH group. Among them is the fragrance “Cheval Blanc Paris” concocted by François Demachy, the perfumer of Dior, where the make-up duo Dior, Rouge Dior and Rouge Blush which bears the imprint of Cheval Blanc Paris. Finally, three of the Professional Solutions are also available for sale on the recommendation of the professionals providing care.
Regarding gastronomy, last June on the occasion of the upcoming reopening of its headquarters on avenue Montaigne in Paris, the Dior house announced that it was going to inaugurate a new restaurant, of which Jean Imbert would be the chef.
