In the Marvel Cinematic Universe we had a version of Quicksilver in 2015, played by Aaron Taylor-Johnson, and although it only lasted one movie, fans were hoping to see him again in WandaVision, as the show presents Vision as if he’s alive, even though he was brutally killed by Thanos in Avengers: Infinity War – 79% and was not resurrected in Avengers: Endgame – 95%.

The fifth episode of the Disney Plus series ended with the arrival of Quicksilver, but to everyone’s surprise, it was not Taylor-Johnson, but Evan Peters. In 2014 the character was adapted by Fox into X-Men: Days of Future Past – 91% and most agreed a year after that it was a much better version than Marvel Studios, but not everyone shares that opinion.

The most obvious answer to Peters’s appearance is that the multiverse has something to do with it and that this is the Quicksilver of the X-Men universe, but WandaVision it has shown that things are not what they seem. Given the many doubts that arose after the casting of Peters as the twin brother of the protagonist, some fans have taken to Twitter to vent their frustration that Taylor-Johnson was not the one who appeared at the end of the chapter.

Marvel with Aaron Taylor Johnson after today’s episode:

Man, I miss Aaron Taylor-Johnson as Quicksilver.

Wait, what do you mean Evans Peters and not Aaron Taylor Johnson, I’m confused.

I’ll be honest: I know how I feel about Evan Peters as Quicksilver. I think I prefer Aaron Taylor-Johnson as Quicksilver.

Very angry at the WandaVision writers, the MCU needed more Aaron Taylor-Johnson.
