Luke Wilson has signed for an unspecified role in a film that is currently in production. Almost a decade has passed since the premiere of the first installment. That movie gave us one of the most memorable and beloved modern horror comedies.

Wilson joins other new additions to this sequel, such as Zoey Deutch, Thomas Middleditch and actress Rosario Dawson. Although Luke Wilson has not been involved in projects that attract too much attention lately, he has worked very consistently.

The actor has already secured a role on the DC Comics series ‘Stargirl’ as Pat Dugan. He will also be the protagonist of the adaptation of ‘The Goldfinch‘, as well as in de’All the Bright Places‘.

The script of ‘Zombieland: Double Tap‘will be written by Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick. They have both already worked on the script for the first film.
