Lady Gaga confessed that she loved working with Salma Hayek

Lady Gaga and Salma Hayek worked together on the film ‘House of Gucci’ directed by Ridley Scott in which we meet the turbulent murder of Maurizio Gucci made by his ex-partner, Patrizia Reggiani.

In the film, Gaga played Patrizia, while Salma played Pina Auriemma, psychic and friend of Reggiani, so her weight in the plot is very great.

In an interview that they both gave for the Rotten Tomatoes site, Lady Gaga went out of her way to compliment the Mexican, commenting, “I have a lot of respect for Salma Hayek and I learned a lot from her, the first time I spoke with her, she told me, ‘ when you say supporting actress, it means something very important ”, and she remembered Salma’s words,“ I am here to support you in your performance ”.

Finally, the singer commented, “I remember that she called me several weeks before we started and she was very nice. I loved working with her.

For Hayek it was also a very special experience to act alongside the ‘Bad Romance’ interpreter, as she said in an interview she gave to a Mexican television program, “It was amazing working with Lady Gaga. I really wanted to be like this with her. You never knew what I was going to do and I love working with someone like that. I love its spontaneity and freshness ”.

‘House of Gucci’ is inspired by the book of Sara Gay Forden. In an interview that the author gave to ‘Mujer Hoy’, she mentioned that she is happy that her story reaches the big screen, “To tell the truth, I always thought of the Gucci story as if it were a movie, because it is full of dramatic scenes. , although I never imagined that it would end up being one of these dimensions. Gucci has a specific mystique, a name and a history, something that makes it unique ”.

He also related that he met Reggiani when he was writing for a fashion magazine, “I met Patrizia when he had already separated and Maurizio was losing control of the company. She was very angry, she spent the interview criticizing her ex-husband’s inability to run the company. It was a very intense talk that my editors did not want to publish, but I kept all the notes I took, which were great for writing the book ”.

Years later they met again, “When she was already in jail, we corresponded, although they did not want a criminal to have access to the media. At that moment, his vision of Maurizio was more loving than before; I had loved him intensely.

Gay Forden also believes that the brand accepted his version of events, as he recalled seeing the book in the Gucci offices in the past. Other interesting things that happened when I was working on history was the battle that took place for control of the Italian company which they disputed Bernard Arnault, owner of conglomerate LVMH Moët Hennessy Louis Vuitton and Francois-Henri Pinault, husband of Salma Hayek, and current owner of Gucci.
