Nicolaus Copernicus: Voyage to the Stars

1473 – Was born Niklas Koppernigk better known as Nicolaus Copernicus, who was a Prussian astronomer who formulated the heliocentric theory of the solar system, first conceived by Aristarchus of Samos. 1954 – Was born Socrates Brazilian Sampaio de Souza Vieira de Oliveira, who was a Brazilian soccer coach and doctor who served in Botafogo, Corinthians, Flamengo, Santos, Fiorentina and the national team. He won six titles at the local level (three with Corinthians, two with Flamengo and one with Botafogo).
