Emilia Clarke and Olivia Colman, the new signings of ‘Secret Invasion’, the Disney + series

The interpreters join Samuel L. Jackson and Ben Mendelsohn in this new fiction from the platform

Almost by dropper we are getting new details of the fictions that Marvel is preparing for Disney +. In this case they have been made known two new signings that will be part of Secret Invasion, one of the most anticipated series by the public. This is Olivia Colman, the Oscar-winning actress for The favoriteShe is known for playing Queen Elizabeth II in The Crown, and Emilia Clarke, the person in charge of putting herself in the shoes of Daenerys Targaryen in Game of Thrones. Both are about to sign their incorporation into Marvel fiction, so there is no official confirmation yet.

Secret Invasion It will show us the characters investigating a group of Skrulls, a race of shape-shifting aliens with green skin and pointed ears that have infiltrated the highest levels of authority in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The fiction is based on the comic published in 2008 and although it is still unknown what parts of the general plot will be adapted in the series, It is said that it could connect directly with what happened at the end of Scarlet Witch and Vision.

Colman and Clarke join in this project to Samuel L. Jackson, who takes on the role of Nick Fury again, while Ben Mendelsohn will be Talos. Along with them we will also see Kingsley Ben-Adir as a villain, although who his character will be has yet to be determined. As for the technical team, Kyle Bradstreet will be showrunner and the person in charge of writing the scripts for the six chapters, while Kevin Feige will act as executive producer, as in the rest of the properties of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
