Daniel Craig returns in first trailer for “Knives Out 2”

Attention detectives at heart! This Thursday the new premieres that will bring Netflix to your screens this year. With him, the expected return of Daniel Craig in the movie “Knives Out 2”.

The sequel to the award-winning 2019 crime mystery film will bring back the “NO TIME TO DIE” actor in his role as the likeable detective Benoit Blanc in a new puzzle.

On this occasion, the new adaptation will hit the screens of Netflix.

A new crime to solve

The platform trailer unveiled the new titles that will arrive in 2022, highlighting the new installment of “Knives Out” (“Between Knives and Secrets”, in Spanish).

The acclaimed film from the writer and director Rian Johnson will premiere on Netflix, after the company acquired its rights in 2021.

In the preview of the films, images of 28 new releases are included, appearing the first trailer for the sequel of mystery from minute 2.33.

The short clip shows six new characters (the possible suspects in the next crime), as they board a boat with Detective Blanc (Craig) in the Mediterranean coasts. Without a doubt, a new setting and faces to launch the fictional adventure.

When does “Knives Out 2” premiere?

Although no further details of the delivery are known, it is known that the cast will be made up of Kathryn Hahn, Ethan Hawke, Edward Norton, Dave Bautista, Kate Hudson, Janelle Monáe, Leslie Odom Jr, Jessica Henwick y Madelyn Cline.

Let’s remember that the first film received applause and good reviews for its intriguing script, with Hollywood stars like Ana de Armas, Chris Evans, Jamie Lee Curtis, Christopher Plummer, among others.

“Knives Out 2” does not have a release date, but it is expected to land on the platform in the fall of the northern hemisphere. Netflix also hopes to produce a third film of the saga.
