While goodbye to the role of James Bond, in the movie ‘007 – No Time to Die’, actor Daniel Craig attended The Late Late Show, presented by James Corden, to be part of a painting. The duo sought to encourage viewers to hit theaters with a ten-minute game in which they performed scenes from 24 blockbusters.
“We all love movies … and we are very excited to see movies where they should be seen: in theaters,” said the host. The game then began with the two repeating a scene from ‘Jurassic Park – Park of the Dinosaurs’ (1993), followed by James Corden playing a sequel to ‘Indiana Jones and Raiders of the Lost Ark’ (1981).
Then it was Daniel Craig’s turn to appear alone on stage, as Ann Darrow, the character of Fay Wray in ‘King Kong’ (1933), dressed in a robe and a wavy blonde wig. Corden returns together to portray ‘Maximum Speed’ (1994) and ‘Fast and Furious’ (2001). In this one, the two wear a cap to go bald, like Vin Diesel.
The couple continues to talk about cars, singing a fragment of ‘Grease Lightning’, from the musical ‘Grease’ (1978). The next scene, however, is more iconic. While James Corden plays Doctor Emett Brown and Daniel Craig plays Marty McFly in ‘Back to the Future II’ (1989), actor Christopher Lloyd arrives, complaining that they are copying badly and takes the place of the presenter.
The following scenes include ‘… Gone with the Wind’ (1939), ‘Pulp Fiction: Times of Violence’ (1994), ‘The Exorcist’ (1973), ‘The Godfather’ (1972), ‘Gladiator’ (2000), ‘Avengers: Infinite War’ (2018) and ‘Jaws’ (1975). In ‘Titanic’ (1997), James is Rose and Daniel while Jack discusses the size of the door.
There are still reproductions of ‘Avatar’ (2009) and ‘ET The Extraterrestrial’ (1982). In ‘Thelma & Louise’ (1991), both argue that they are a Louise, so actress Geena Davis arrives to play Thelma again. ‘Star Wars: Episode V – The Empire Strikes Back’ (1980), ‘Batman: The Dark Knight Rises’ (2012),’ Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone ‘(2001),’ The Lord of the Rings: Society no Anel ‘(2001) and’ Dirty Dancing ‘(1987) complete this part.
To end the game, of course, they remembered Daniel Craig movies like James Bond, with his suit open and his tie messy. The duo begins with ‘Casino Royale’ (2006), ‘Skyfall’ (2012), ‘Specter’ (2015) and the most recent ‘No Time to Die’ (2021). Yes, they skipped ‘Quantum of Solace’ (2008). The video is worth watching:
