All the movies and series that will reach Phase 4 of the MCU

Yesterday, July 14, it was broadcast through Disney+ the season finale of ‘Loki’, and a couple of days before it debuted through the same platform ‘Black Widow’, the prequel film about the agent Natasha Romanoff, in which Scarlett Johansson makes her last appearance as the Black widow.

After the denouement of these titles, fans of Marvel they will wonder what new stories are about to be written in this 4th Phase of the UCM, and the truth is that there is nothing to worry about, since the studio has a large schedule of premieres covered until 2023.

“Dr. Strange “,” The Eternals “and” Captain Marvel “are some of the characters that will make appearances in subsequent projects of the UCM. Here we list all the known ones so far.

What If?

‘What If…?’ is the closest project to be released by UCM. It is the first and only animated series in the franchise, and it will explore what would happen if the events seen in the movies of Marvel they would have happened in another way, or what the same thing, multiverses. It will premiere on September 3, 2021.

ShangChi and the legend of the ten rings

It is directed by Chloe Zhao, the great winner of the awards Oscar 2021 for his film ‘Nomadland’, and the next one will be released November 5th.

Spider-Man: No Way Home

In 2019 ‘Spider-Man Far From Home’ became the highest grossing film of Sony, and the negotiations between them and Marvel have advanced rapidly so that ‘Spider-Man: No Way Home’ make your debut on December 17, 2021.

Our favorite arachnid teenage hero, “Peter Parker” (Tom Holland) will return in a new adventure in which we will also see his sentimental interest back (both on and off the screen) zendaya 💓 as “MJ”.

The best of all? Jamie Foxx (“Electro”) and Alfred Molina (“Dr. Octopus”) return in their iconic antagonists from previous sagas.


The adventures of “Clint Barton” are far from over, and we will see him in an upcoming series that shares continuity with the franchise films. It takes place after the events seen in ‘Avengers: Endgame’ (2019) and features the new incarnation of the hawk, “Kate Bishop”.

The series will be available later this year on Disney +.

Ms. Marvel

At the end of this year reach ‘Ms. Marvel’, series inspired by the young heroine “Kamala Khan”, played by Iman Vellani.

Inside of the Marvel Universe, “Kamala Khan” is an American-Pakistani teenager from New Jersey with great abilities, who discovers she has an Inhuman gene in the aftermath of the “inhuman story” and takes on the role of ‘Ms. Marvel‘, inspired by her idol “Carol Danvers”.

After the series, “Khan” will again be seen on the screen as part of ‘The Marvels’, the sequel to ‘Captain Marvel’.

Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness

Definitely one of the most anticipated films by fans of Marvel it is ‘Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness’, that will retake the events seen in ‘Wandavision’, another of the mini-series of the extended universe, and will introduce us again to the “Scarlet Witch” from Elizabeth Olsen next to “Dr. Stephen Strange” from Benedict Cumberbatch.

The long awaited 28th film of the UCM will premiere on March 25, 2022.

Thor: Love & Thunder

The fandom so missed Natalie Portman as “Jane Foster” that the actress returns to the ranks of Marvel to star ‘Love & Thunder’, where we will see her become the powerful “Goddess of Thunder.”

The son of Odin (Chris Hemsworth) will also be back, in what is expected to be a more light-hearted film courtesy of Taika Waititi. It will hit theaters on May 6, 2022.

Black Panther: Wakanda Forever

The unfortunate passing of Chadwick Boseman questioned what would happen to ‘Black Panther’; However, after the storm, the study has resumed plans in Wakanda and we know that the king’s sister, “Shuri” (Letitia Wright) will be the new protagonist of the story. The film will debut on July 8, 2022.

The Marvels

‘The Marvels’ acts as the sequel to ‘Captain Marvel’ (2019), and of course has the leading role in “Carol Denvers” with “Kamala Khan” from ‘Ms. Marvel ‘and “Monica Rambeau,” whom we saw acquire her powers towards the end of ‘WandaVision’.

It will be the 31st film of the UCM and will be released on November 11, 2022.

The Guardians of The Galaxy: Holiday Special

Marvel will close 2022 with a seasonal special that will serve both as an epilogue to ‘Thor Love & Thunder’, as an introduction to ‘Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. III’. It will be led by James Gunn and will premiere in December 2022.

Moon Knight

The multi-personality hero “Marc Spector” cursed by the Egyptian God Khonshu, will have its own series in Disney+ and the leading role will be assumed by Oscar Isaac. It will debut sometime in 2022.


The cousin of “Bruce Banner”, “Jennifer Walters”, who after a blood transfusion acquires an attenuated version of the powers of “Hulk”, is the protagonist of ‘She-Hulk’, to be released during 2022.

Old acquaintances of the UCM as “General Ross”, “Abomination” and the “Hulk” himself will also appear in the mini-series.

Secret Invasion

Directed by Thomas Bezucha Y Ali Selim, the series will star Samuel L. Jackson In the role of “Nick Fury” and will deepen his relationship with the race Skrull and the secret war they started against planet Earth, as revealed by the post-credit scene of ‘Spider-Man: Far From Home’ .

Ant-man and The Wasp: Quantumania

The story of the quantum realm will continue in the third part of ‘Ant-Man and The Wasp’ where it is expected that “Kang the Conqueror” (yes, the same one we saw at the end of ‘Loki’), take the baton from the hand of “Thanos” as the new definitive villain of the 4th phase of the UCM. It will premiere on February 17, 2023

Guardians of The Galaxy Vol III.

Another absolute fandom favorite is ‘Guardians of The Galaxy’, which after endless controversy will return with its third part next May 5, 2023 hand in hand with James Gunn.

For now very little is known about the plot it will offer, except that it will be connected with ‘Thor: Love and Thunder’ Y ‘The Guardians of the Galaxy: Holiday Special’.


The vampire hunter “Blade” will make his triumphant debut in the new ranks of the UCM, with a story that does not seem entirely clear and will not be rated R, despite the character is a bit darker and more violent, just like his colleague “Moon Knight.” It will hit theaters sometime in 2023.
